Blueberry, Cucumber, Mint, Honey

Bacon, Arugula, Tomato, Spring Onion Aioli, Nine Grain Bread

I love, love, love Farm to Family and our USA (Urban Sustainable Ag) share through them. The food above is 99.8% made from the food provided in our share. .1% was the olive oil I used to make the aioli. And the other .1% was mint from my herbs. They really do have anything you need all locally sourced. Amazing and fantastic. We also had some deviled eggs with HeBang from Bangarang, again available through Farm to Family, but those were inhaled too quickly before I remembered to get a photo.

BLT’s are one of my husband’s favorite things to eat. Since our son had declared it Spontaneous Father’s Day we celebrated by making him a favorite meal. We will save eating crabs for the calendar’s Father’s Day, but we received the first of the sweet corn in our share this week!

About the Author,

I had to teach myself to cook and began to learn how to create the dishes I had eaten in my own kitchen. Before long, as my own kitchen confidence grew, friends were calling, texting, emailing daily to ask what they should have for dinner or how to prepare this or what to do what that. And that is how this site came to be.
